Accommodation That Feels Like a Holiday

There’s a difference between finding somewhere to stay and finding somewhere that actually feels like a holiday.

At Gemini Court Holiday Apartments, it’s not just about checking into an apartment, dropping your bags and heading out again. It’s about waking up in Burleigh Heads, looking out towards the coast and wondering what you feel like doing today.

And around here, there are plenty of choices.

You might start with a morning walk along the beach, grab a coffee somewhere in Burleigh, whether it be some beach side coffee shop or from James St, head around the headland, or simply decide that today is a pool day.

That’s probably one of the best things about staying in Burleigh — you really don’t need much of a plan.

Start the day the Burleigh way

Mornings in Burleigh Heads have their own sort of rhythm.

There are surfers already in the water, people walking along the beachfront, coffees appearing everywhere and plenty of locals getting their morning exercise in before the day really gets going.

From Gemini Court, you’re close to Burleigh Beach and right beside one of the Gold Coast’s best natural areas, Burleigh Head National Park.

The Oceanview Walk around the headland is one of those things we always recommend. You can wander through the coastal rainforest, stop and take in the views, and continue around towards Tallebudgera Creek if you’re feeling energetic.

You can find more ideas for exploring the area through Experience Gold Coast’s Burleigh Heads guide.

Or, of course, you can forget the walk altogether and head straight for the beach. We won’t judge.

Then come back and slow things down

One thing we love about a Burleigh holiday is that doing very little can sometimes be the best part.

Back at Gemini Court you can have a swim in the heated pool, relax in the spa or sauna, have a hit of tennis or simply find somewhere comfortable and enjoy the view.

There’s also the BBQ area overlooking the beach, which makes a pretty good alternative to going out for dinner.

Grab something from the shops, throw it on the barbecue and settle in.

No booking. No dress code. No rush.

That easy balance between being able to get out and explore and having plenty to do back at your accommodation is a big part of what makes Gemini Court such a good base for a Burleigh Heads holiday.

You can explore our Burleigh Heads apartments here, with options for couples, families, groups of friends and even larger groups wanting the space of our four-bedroom Penthouse.

Burleigh is right outside your door

Of course, eventually food usually enters the conversation.

That’s another area where Burleigh does rather well.

Cafes, restaurants, takeaway spots and relaxed places for an afternoon drink are all nearby, so you can leave the car behind and wander into Burleigh Village.

Spend the afternoon at the beach, grab some lunch, browse the shops and perhaps head up to Burleigh Hill later in the day.

This is where the location really starts to make sense.

Gemini Court is at 45 Hayle Street, Burleigh Heads, putting you between the beachfront, Burleigh Village and the headland.

Have a look at our Burleigh Heads location guide to get a better idea of just how much is nearby.

And then there’s Tallebudgera Creek

If you continue through or around Burleigh Head National Park, another Gold Coast favourite is waiting on the other side.

Tallebudgera Creek is famous for its beautiful clear water, sandy shoreline and relaxed swimming spots. It’s the sort of place where a planned quick visit can quite easily turn into half a day.

Burleigh Head National Park itself combines rainforest, coastal scenery and walking tracks right in the middle of the Gold Coast, which is fairly special. You can learn more about the park through the Burleigh Head National Park visitor information.

And when you’ve had enough exploring, it’s back over the headland to Gemini Court.

Maybe that’s what a Burleigh holiday should feel like

There’s plenty you can do while staying in Burleigh Heads.

But perhaps the real attraction is that you don’t have to do all of it.

Have a morning swim. Play some tennis. Walk around the headland. Grab lunch in the village. Spend the afternoon by the pool. Sit on the balcony and watch the coast for a while.

Tomorrow you can do something completely different.

That’s the kind of holiday we like.

A little less rushing around and a little more enjoying where you are.

And with Burleigh Beach, the National Park, local cafes, restaurants and the relaxed Burleigh lifestyle all close by, Gemini Court puts you right in the middle of it.

When you’re ready for your own Burleigh break, you can check availability and book direct with Gemini Court.
