I have to say that my best friend and I really enjoyed our weekend at Gemini Court Holiday Apartments. Of course, we chose the best Burleigh Heads accommodation we could find with an amazing view. Really unbelievable! But what we really got out of our stay was the great array of coffee shops we could hang out at and chat.

It’s school holidays and we were looking for something to do. We live in Brisbane so decided a fun week on The Gold Coast, less than an hour’s drive away, would be a great change for us. And, of course, we picked our favourite Burleigh Heads accommodation, Gemini Court Holiday Apartments.
Unfortunately, for the first couple of days it rained on and off, but this didn’t bother us at all. First up, there are great cafes, restaurants and shopping all within a stroll of Gemini Court and we really enjoyed watching the waves crash on the shore when we grabbed a bite to eat at beachfront, family-friendly Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Club. After checking into our lovely Gemini Court Burleigh Heads accommodation, my husband and I immediately gravitated to the balcony with its sweeping views from Burleigh Heads to Surfers Paradise.
But it wasn’t Surfers that caught our attention, just off Burleigh Headland we could see the distinct outline of two humpback whales putting on a great display. There were quite a few people gathered on the headland but no-one had a better view than us from our wonderful Burleigh Heads holiday apartment balcony! Continue reading

We’re so sad to leave our amazing two-bedroom apartment at Gemini Court, Burleigh Heads. The accommodation was perfect for our whole family. My husband and I loved sitting on the balcony in the late afternoon, gazing out over the ocean all the way to Surfers Paradise. Whilst it’s well known that Gemini Court has the best self-contained holiday apartments with the most beautiful ocean view in Burleigh, it’s perhaps not so well known that Burleigh Heads, or more accurately, James Street is a foodie’s paradise.
Let’s start with Foodworks at the top end of James Street where word is the range of items for sale is so extensive you could probably find a unicorn if you wanted one! Not that we’re suggesting you eat a unicorn, of course, but no matter what you are looking for, from fresh vegetables to organic meats and a huge range of deli items, it’s all here for you to gather up and cook in your fabulous kitchen or simply enjoy on your Gemini Court beachfront balcony.
