V8 Supercars, super exciting!

Be a part of Gold Coast street-racing history as The Armor All Gold Coast 600 gets set to blaze through Surfers Paradise and Main Beach, Gold Coast from 21 – 23 October.

Twenty-eight international drivers will take on the thrilling Gold Coast circuit alongside our own V8 Supercars drivers. The field currently includes eight racers with Formula 1 race experience and the 28 drivers represent 11 countries.

Simply Swelligent!

Swell Sculpture Festival, 9 – 18 September

Every year, just a short trip up the road from your gorgeous Burleigh Heads Gemini Court Holiday Apartment, the amazing Swell Festival features wonderful sculptures by the sea and is truly a September highlight.

This year 50 sculptures built by artists from Australia and abroad have been placed on the grassy area next to the beach and on the beach with the usual fabulous display on Currumbin rock itself. Continue reading →

A whale of a time!

Up early for our first adventure whale watching with Coolangatta Whale Watch. It was a bright, clear winter’s day and we were all rugged up and ready to go when our ride arrived at Gemini Court Holiday Apartments.

We reached our boat and it’s all aboard! A short trip down the beautiful Tweed River and we were out in the ocean looking for whales.

We couldn’t believe it, there were whales breaching everywhere, with two breaching right next to the boat at the same time! Amazing, then one came closer, rolled over and slapped its pectoral fin to say hello. Continue reading →

Couple’s Getaway Burleigh Heads

My partner & I hadn’t had a holiday for over 10 years. On advice from friends we chose Burleigh Heads and then decided on Gemini Court, mainly because of its location. Once we arrived, we realised it was just perfect. Our Burleigh Heads Accommodation was a wonderful 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Burleigh Beach with a fantastic view straight up to Surfers Paradise and beyond. Gemini Court is within easy walking distance of all the coffee shops and restaurants in Burleigh ( surf clubs great ). The staff at Gemini where great. Helped us with car rental and anything else we wanted. Definitely want to come back. Thanks again.
