At Gemini Court Holiday Apartments we are passionate about the environment and are green star rated by AAA Tourism. Gemini Court is proud to own a bore, huge water tanks and have a fabulous recycling program. Moreover, our Burleigh Heads accommodation is perched on the border of Burleigh Heads National Park making us even stronger supporters of the excellent March environmental awareness events.
Something close to any lover of the outdoors is Clean Up Australia Day. Every year people gather at Burleigh Heads to make sure that the beach, foreshore and spectacular national park are in pristine condition and stay as beautiful as they are meant to be.
This year Clean Up Australia Day is on Sunday March 4 and there are meeting points listed on the Cleanup Australia Day website. Ask at the Gemini Court Burleigh Heads accommodation reception for details on how you can join in.
Then at the end of the month on March 31 hundreds of millions of people, businesses and governments around the world unite to support the biggest environmental event in history – Earth Hour.
More than 5,200 cities and towns in 135 countries worldwide switched off their lights for Earth Hour 2011, sending a powerful message for action on climate change. Without a doubt, it’s shown how great things can be achieved when people come together for a common cause.
At Gemini Court Holiday Apartments we are proud of our green credentials and encourage visitors to walk through gorgeous Burleigh Heads National Park right on our doorstep. Most are blown away by the abundant wildlife and rugged beauty.
Visit Gemini Court in March, stay in our awesome Burleigh Heads accommodation with amazing ocean views and be treated to mild temperatures and sunny days.
